Hubungan Self Compassion dengan Resiliensi Pada Remaja Panti Asuhan Daarut Taqwa Ihsaniyya Yogyakarta

Abstract

Afrina Yulia, NIM: 2130306001, Thesis title: “The Relationship between Self Compassion and Resilience of Adolescents of Daarut Taqwa Ihnsaniyya Orphanage Yogyakarta”. Islamic Psychology Study Program, Faculty of Ushuluddin Adab and Da'wah, Mahmud Yunus State Islamic University Batusangkar.This research is based on a phenomenon found in the field by researchers, namely adolescents at Daarut Taqwa Ihnsaniyya Yogyakarta orphanage have a rebellious reaction when faced with problems such as getting angry when given advice after making mistakes and showing a negative response to existing situations, confused about their own abilities. In this situation, adolescents need the ability to bounce back which is known as resilience. On the other hand, the condition of an adolescent who is able to fully accept himself is related to a positive concept, namely self-compassion. So the purpose of this study is to determine whether there is a relationship between self-compassion and resilience of adolescents at Daarut Taqwa Ihnsaniyya Orphanage Yogyakarta.This study uses a correlational quantitative method. The study population was 42 adolescents of Daarut Taqwa Ihsaniyya Yogyakarta orphanage. With Purposive sampling technique so that the research subjects were 42 teenagers. Then for data collection techniques using self compassion scale and resiliensiscale. The self compassion scale has a reliability value of 0.830 and Cronbach's Alpha resiliensi on the resiliensi scale of 0.860, so the value obtained is greater than 0.7 which can be concluded that the self compassion and resiliensi scales are reliable with the help of SPSS Statistics 20. The results of this study indicate a normal distribution of significance of 0.609> 0.05, so the data can be concluded that this value indicates normality in this study can be fulfilled. Based on the results of the correlation test, it is known that the significance value (2-tailed) is 0.004 0.05, so the data can be concluded that the value is correlated, with a correlation coefficient of 0.439 so it can be seen that the two variables show a positive correlation and has a moderate degree of association between the two variables.
