Manajemen Program Tahfiz di sekolah Dasar Islam Unggul Terpadu ( IUT) Padang Sibusuk

Abstract

The problem in this research is that there is a lot of interest from parents to send their children to Padang Sibusuk Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) due to the Tahfiz program at this school even though the student's residence is far from the school location. This study aims to determine the management of the Tahfiz program at the Padang Sibusuk Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT). The purpose of this study was to find out: 1) Planning for the Tahfiz Program at the Integrated Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) Padang Sibusuk, 2) Implementation of the Tahfiz Program at the Integrated Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) Padang Sibusuk. 3) Evaluation of the Tahfiz Program at the Integrated Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) Padang Sibusuk. This type of research was conducted qualitatively using a case study research method (case study). The place of research is at the Padang Sibusuk Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT), Kupitan District, Sijunjung Regency. This research was carried out for 11 months in the field from August 2022 to July 2023. The sampling technique was carried out by means of porposive sampling. The research subjects consisted of school principals, Tahfiz teachers and students. The research instruments used in this study were observation guidelines, interview guidelines and documentation studies. Data collection techniques using observation techniques (observation), in-depth interviews (interviews) and documentation. Data analysis from this study is descriptive through data reduction and data verification. While the technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data is done through data credibility and source triangulation and method triangulation. The results of the research on the Management of the Tahfiz Program at the Integrated Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) Padang Sibusuk are: Planning for the Tahfiz program starts from the selection of students entering with reference to Al-Qur'an reading and memorization, setting targets for students' memorization at grade level, Tahfiz notebooks learners. The implementation of the Tahfiz Program at the Padang Sibusuk Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) is carried out according to a schedule arranged for each class level for 2 hours of learning in class and one hour after school, where the activity process begins with students recording verses to be memorized, correcting verses by the Tahfiz teacher, the students memorize the verses that have been corrected, after the students memorize them they continue with the students depositing the verses. Evaluation of the Tahfiz program at the Padang Sibusuk Superior Islamic Elementary School (IUT) has not been fully carried out to the fullest extent possible, this is where the school principal only receives reports from the Tahfiz teacher what percentage of students have reached the target of memorization at the end of the year.
