OPTIMALISASI PERAN KONSELOR SEKOLAH ERA MERDEKA BELAJAR

Abstract

School counselors in implementing the programs have a role that is integrated with the goals of national education and the merdeka belajar curriculum. To optimize the role of the counselor, there are steps are needed to be carried out continuously. The purpose of this research is to know optimizing the role of school counselors in merdeka belajar. This research uses descriptive qualitative research the research subjects are four guidance and counseling teachers. Techniques for data collections are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique is using descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study are that optimizing the role of school counselors can be carried out with the following efforts: 1) Understand the guidelines for the counseling guidance implementation of Merdeka belajar curriculum, 2) The counselor carries out the roles of coordinator, counselor/therapist, consultant, agent of prevention of gene change funds, and assessor. 3) Implement and evaluate guidance and counseling services that refer to the dimensions of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila, 4) The counselor contributes to the preparation of the Profil Pelajar Pancasila project, 5) Conducts professional development, 6) Establishes collaboration. 7) Supervise
