Abstract

DJUMADIL RAHMAN, 2019 NIM BKPI. 1902051007 with the title of the thesis “Efektifitas Konseling Kelompok Realitas Terhadap Prokrastinasi Akademik Kelas VIII MTsN 6 Padang. Graduate Program Of Islamic Education Counseling Guidance Study Program At The State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Batusangkar. The issue in this thesis is the high attitude of students academic procrastination. The purpose of the discusion of this thesis is to see reducing the Effectiviness Of Reality Group Counseling On Academic Procrastination Of Class VIII MTsN 6 Padang students. This type of resesarch is a quntitative study pre experimental designs one-group pre-test post test where the experimental group in measured the dependent variable the given the experiment and measured again. The population in this study was 134 people. The sample in this study was 9 people where were taken a pusposive random sampling technique. Namely taking a sample that indicated a very high score, high, medium. The instrumen used is a academic procrastination questionnaire. From the research that the researchers conducted, the results of the description of the academic procrastination of the experiemental group students pre-test had average of 99,6 this value was high. After being given treatment, the post-test value of the experimental group has an average value of 72,6. This value has decreased and is classified as moderate. The results of hypothesis testing. Revealed that reality group counseling is effective in reducing students academic procratisnation.
