Hubungan Kecerdasan Spiritual dengan Prestasi Belajar Siswa Kelas IX Di UPT SMP N 4 Batusangkar

Abstract

ABSTRACT Dino Yudia Permana, NIM. 1730101027, Thesis Title "Relationship of Spiritual Intelligence with Student Achievement Class IX at UPT SMP N 4 Batusangkar" Department of Islamic Religious Education State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Batusangkar 2021. The background of this research problem is that grade IX students at UPT SMPN4 Batusangkar are still lacking spiritual attitude, so that not all students in their learning efforts get high achievements, some of them are low achievers, besides that there are also students who have high IQs who cannot maintain their rank in class. The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was a relationship between spiritual intelligence and the learning achievement of Class IX students at UPT SMP N 4 Batusangkar. This type of research is a field research or field research which is quantitative correlational research with the research subjects being students of class IX UPT SMP N 4 Batusangkar, totaling 30 students. The sampling technique used is Stratified Random Sampling (Strata Random Sampling). Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the product moment correlation technique with the significance level of the analysis results determined at 5% (0.05). The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between spiritual intelligence and student learning achievement at UPT SMP N 4 Batusangkar, as evidenced by the value of ry = 0.804 and T table 0.361. So ry > rtable (0.804 > 0.361). It can be concluded that rxy 0.804 belongs to the category of strong or high positive correlation with the range of ry (0.70-0.90).
