dc.description.abstract Lita Sari Muchlis, 2018. Development of DIVA Learning Management System Model in Algorithm and Programming Course at Vocational Education Management Informatics. Development of DIVA Learning Management System model was an effort to increase students' understanding about abstract concept of algorithm and programming course. The observation result shown that students had low understanding about algorithm and programming course. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to develop DIVA Learning Management System model that has validity, effectiveness and practicality. The research method used was Borg & Gall's Research and Development (R & D). The methods were modified into four stages: (1) identification of reserach problem and needs analysis; (2) design and modeling; (3) expert validation and revision; (4) field test and revision. The data were analyzed by developing qualitative and quantitative data to obtain understanding and to apply the concept of DIVA Learning Management System model. The product validity was tested by experts by using Aiken V. Practicality test was done by lecturer and students then the effectiveness of students’ learning result through t test. This study found that DIVA Learning Management System model with syntax: a) Display; b) Infomation Search; c) Virtual Problem Solving; and d) Apprasial, as well as products from: (1) DIVA Learning Management System model (2) learning devices; (3) modules; and (4) learning media. The data analysis of this research shown that DIVA Learning Management System model validity was (0,785), media validity was (0,822), module validity was (0,840) and learning devices validity was (0,868), and validity of practical category (DIVA Learning Management System model applied by lecturer) was (98, 04) and by students was (83.63). Effectiveness test of media usage by lecturer was about 92,3% and for student learning outcomes with pre-test and post-test test scores can be seen from achievement gain score of each respondent. The result of the gain score shows the score achievement is at the level of 0.486 with the interpretation that the overall increase in score after treatment given to the respondents. Based on the results of data analysis above, it could be concluded that DIVA Learning Management System model could be used.
